Introduce myself

I am a mother to six children, 5 are grown and out on their own. I have a 16 year old son still at home. I have 5 grandchildren and another on the way. He is due to arrive October 26. I recently remarried and moved to Iowa where my husband operates big cranes. He is putting up a wind farm on the Iowa/Minnesota border. I was a single mom for the past 11 years and went back to school once I got smart enough to leave an abusive marriage. I know have my bachelor's degree in Sociology and would like to work with abused children and battered women. I think this is a great website and enjoy looking at the links and such. I have told other younger moms to check it out since it is a safe place for families to share ideas. Maybe we can get some more grandma's to join and share some thoughts on grandchildren and family. I guess that is about all for now.
